The new release of ntp 4.2.2 was imported and integrated into 
NetBSD-current.

 From the release announcement of the NTP project:

This is primarily a bug fix and minor enhancements release.  Important
new features include:

	* An operational SNTP client
	* Implementation of the current "goal state" of NTPv4
	* Autokey improvements
	* Improved IPv6 support
	* New version numbering scheme
