My Soekris 4501 has 64 MB, and if it wasn't running bind and dhcp, I
think it would have a huge amount of memory free.  Of course, 32 MB is
only half of that, in my experience if you strip out all of the device
drivers those embedded systems don't have, you get a fairly lean kernel.
But I'm planning on having a CF card that has a swap partition.
