Hi -

there is nothing like a "device number" on cardbus -- it
is point-to-point and an IDSEL pin like in PCI is not
defined.
Thus the "dev" locator doesn't make much sense.

I've already removed almost all code which passes it
around from the kernel, left just as much as necessary
to tolerate the "dev" locator in kernel config files.
In some future, I might clean up this too.

So please remove this useless thing from your kernel
config files. If you do so now, you won't be surprised
later.
