Hi,

after watching the the setup of the gnats database for mutt, I see
Christoph Berg has done a cool thing with GNATS that will add
references for all emails with the same bug ID.

This means that: No matter the subject, the threads remain for the
required bug number.

See attachment for his response.

Could we do the same for our setup? Should I post this somewhere else?

  C.

 It's just an added "References:" in all "header" format strings in
 dbconfig:

 mail-format "initial-response-to-submitter" {
     ...
     header {
         format "Subject: Re: %s/%s: %s\nReferences: <mutt-pr-%s@bugs.mutt.org>\n"
         fields { "Category" "Number" "Synopsis" "Number" }
     }

 mail-format "initial-pr-notification" {
     header {
         format "Subject: %s/%s: %s\nX-Mutt-PR: %s/%s\nReferences: <mutt-pr-%s@bugs.mutt.org>\n"
         fields { "Category" "Number" "Synopsis" "Category" "Number" "Number" }
     }

 etc...
