Please do, I have two machines here with Intel 915 and 945 chipsets  
that have the same problem(s) with just basic HID keyboards and mice.  
Sometimes I just get

uhub0: device problem, disabling port 1 (uhci)

and sometimes I get that plus:

uhub4: device problem, disabling port 8 (ehci)

which is usually accompanied by:

ehci_sync_hc: tsleep() = 35
