I have a question about this commit.

By this change, the resetting of the el->el_history.eventno has been
removed from the ch_reset() in the src/lib/libedit/chared.c.  This
causes a problem to the command history of /bin/sh.  The history
position is not reset by return and ctrl-c.
Is this really unneeded?
