dan@uboat [9:20][309]/home/scratch# mount_lfs -n /dev/vnd0a /mnt
dan@uboat [9:20][310]/home/scratch# vnconfig -l
vnd0: /home (/dev/cgd0h) inode 1042572
vnd1: not in use
vnd2: not in use
vnd3: not in use

-current kernel and userland built yesterday.  Not sure what your
issue is, but something is amiss.
