I for one would not dream of enabling softdeps on any of my NetBSD systems,
due to bad experiences in the past. 
One of the goals of the NetBSD project is to have a usable system out of the 
box, so if one of the features makes a machine crash, or instable, it should be 
disabled by default. 

NetBSD administraters are clever enough to enable it, if they want the 
performance boost, right?
