I think that the :0 is kdm... I will have to re-install kde and try it.
The pmap_unwire is of course a bug, and it is unrelated to the :0
lossage which is probably caused by kdm setting the tty to :0 and the
userland programs not knowing what to do with it.

I looked up pmap_unwire in the mailing lists and the only thing
I came up was in port_mips.
