hi,

i run 2.99.9 on my Power Mac G4 (dmesg below at [1]).

as i tried 2.99.11 a while ago, it hung while booting; today i checked
out again (from the running cvs mirrors) and built 2.99.12 and tried
booting it:

trap: pid 3.1 (atabus1): kernel MCHK trap @ 0x5543c0 (SRR1=0x2041020)
panic: trap
Stopped in pid 3.1 (atabus1) at netbsd:cpu_Debugger+0x18: lwz
       r11,1, 0x0
trap type f00 at 3c4d28

(there come a lot of exactly the same messages -- consisting of the
three lines above -- but the keyboard is not responding).

the machine is pretty standard configuration (except the Radeon 9000 in
it).

all runs fine on 2.99.9 -- has anyone a clue how to track this
phenomenon down? or is this a bug and known already?

help is very much appreciated!

thanks in advance, regards,

timo
