My system is the PowerEdge 6450. I do have an Alpa here too but the 
Qlogic is in the PowerEdge 6450. I'm running from the GENERIC.MP kernel 
build. I'll try disabling some of the drivers like you said and build a 
new kernel and see if it find the fibre array.
