Server:

NetBSD roothog.rmkhome.com 2.99.9 NetBSD 2.99.9 (ROOTHOG) #1: Sat Oct 23 19:03:22 MDT 2004 rmk@roothog.rmkhome.com:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/ROOTHOG i386

Client:

NetBSD rodent 2.0_RC4 NetBSD 2.0_RC4 (RODENT) #0: Sat Oct 23 01:44:08 MDT 2004 rmk@rodent:/usr/src/sys/arch/sparc/compile/RODENT sparc

Server has 2.0 source tree. Mounted on client. Server locks up/halts while
using build.sh to build tools.

Only clue to problem is on server:

Server Errors:
RPC errors faults
         6 0
Server Cache Stats:
inprogress idem non-idem misses
         0 0 0 123
Server Lease Stats:
    leases maxleases getleases
         0 0 0
Server Write Gathering:
    writes write RPC OPs saved
        91 91 0 0%

The "RPC errors" rises to a fairly high number until finally the client
gets:

cc -W -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -O -o objdump objdump.o budemang.o prdbg.o rddbg.o debug.o stabs.o ieee.o rdcoff.o bucomm.o version.o filemode.o ../opcodes/.libs/libopcodes.a ../bfd/.libs/libbfd.a ../libiberty/libiberty.a
bucomm.o(.text+0xad4): In function `make_tempname':
: warning: mktemp() possibly used unsafely, use mkstemp() or mkdtemp()
nfs server roothog:/u2/netbsd_2.0: not responding

Any ideas?
