apcupsd-3.10.X is missing code for the *BSD USB, it has to be written.
In addition, 3.10 requires some kind of threads. I got it working on
NetBSD 2.0 with a serial UPS, but it doesn't work on 1.6.x (i.e. it doesn't
work with pth). This is the main reason why I didn't upgrade pkgsrc to 3.10.x
yet.
