The error I see is:
Making groff_mom.n from /usr/src/gnu/dist/groff/contrib/mom/groff_mom.man
/usr/src/obj.i386/tooldir.NetBSD-2.0G-i386/bin/nbmakeinfo -I/usr/src/gnu/dist/groff/doc /usr/src/gnu/dist/grof f/doc/groff.texinfo
/usr/src/gnu/dist/groff/doc/groff.texinfo:846: Multiline command @group used improperly.
/usr/src/gnu/dist/groff/doc/groff.texinfo:852: Unmatched `@end'.
And then I get a ton of those errors.
