That's still roughly double the numbers a dual 2.8GHz Xeon box gets.
Here's some figures for four boxes here:

   Celeron 366MHz			1594111 loops
   Pentium III 700MHz			2176526 loops
   Athlon XP2000+			5890351 loops
   Dual 2.8GHz Xeon (SMP)		1207463 loops

I'd be happy with > 2million in an SMP configuration :-)
