I saw the same problem with X after this morning's update, but I just
updated again and this time X works:  kern.securelevel = -1 again.

Now gnome-panel won't run because of missing symbols in libstc++.so.4
so I'm recompiling most all of gnome2, but I imagine all will settle
out again after that.
