Yes. Fwiw:

What I have learned with such build errors is that after cvs up'ing
src, and starting the (in so many words) 'build -u release' process
again, be sure to point the build to an empty -R/your/release/dir.

My misapprehension was that this would, in the presence of '-u', force a
rebuild of the entire release contents. But that is not the case, and I
was glad to find that out!
