Yeah, I'd like to get working native threads.

Anyway, I took a wild guess and bumbed SA_NUMSTACKS from 16 to 256 in 
sys/sys/savar.h. I haven't seen the message yet and xmms is still happily
playing but I haven't tested extensively yet, although xmms has been
behaving quite well (as has mozilla).

Are there any drawbacks from the bump ?
