You can't form a consensus based on a few squeaky wheels. This isn't
even the right forum for a discusion about sysinst.

sysinstall can't even handle installing over multiple spindles, so
pretending to support "servers" (whatever that means) is premature.
On the other hand, anyone who's actually used sysinstall knows that
it's currently trivially easy to create up to 16 partitions.

You should also know that there's a performance disadvantage to having
multiple active partitions on the same disk.
