Sure it works, but SIGHUP is hitting it with a sledge hammer when all
you need to do is tap it lightly on the shoulder.  :-)

I don't know about the native NetBSD newsyslog -- I only know that with
my version it can be given either way (or as the decimal number).  :-)

With SIGUSR1 it's not quite as much of a problem....
