The nvidia-supplied "audio support" in the package that I looked at was
nothing more than a one-line patch to Linux's i810 audio driver to match on
the vendor/product ID pair on the nForce2 chipset.

I would suspect that the 5.1 support is in Linux's i810 driver if it's
present at all.
