Hi,

Yesterday I built tools and a new kernel, rebooted, and then built
a new distribution. Everything went smoothly, and, thanks to the
improvements in build.sh, the whole process was even simpler than
before. I can chroot to the directory containing the new build and
run the commands there, so everything seems to be fine. I have
software archives and backup machines, so I easily could work around
any problem which might arise after installing the new build.
Nevertheless, perhaps an excess of caution leads me to ask:

Is there a simple, yet systematic way to test a newly built
distribution?

Thanks,

Tom
