Hi,

I've compiled the kernel with DDB support but as I'm under X most of the
time I've set ddb.onpanic and ddb.fromconsole to 0 (zero). However, I
had several kernel panics for (probably) different reasons recently. I
expected the system to dump its kernel and reboot then. This did not
happen. I typed "sync" blindly (still under X) but I had to push the
reset button to force the system to reboot. So do I have to compile a
kernel without DDB to make it reboot in case of a kernel panic?

Well, I've just found a corrupted backtrace with dmesg (see attachment).
