i'm having trouble getting a pci cbb to work in the Tyan-MPX i bought
(for SMP experimentation). it worked in the previous asus board. i'm
not too keen on pc hardware and after trying various BIOS knobs, i must
ask for help/suggestions/clue.

the pci cbb is the one that lucent sells to service a wavelan card. in
the tyan board it claims to have difficulty finding an interrupt (no idea
what cbb1 is).

cbb1 at pci2 dev 7 function 1: Texas Instruments PCI1225 PCI-CardBus Bridge (rev. 0x01)
cbb1: NOT USED because of unconfigured interrupt

in the asus board it looked like:

cbb0 at pci0 dev 12 function 0: Texas Instruments PCI1225 PCI-CardBus Bridge (rev. 0x01)
Texas Instruments PCI1225 PCI-CardBus Bridge (CardBus bridge, revision 0x01) at pci0 dev 12 function 1 not configured

wi0: supported rates: 1Mbps 2Mbps 5.5Mbps 11Mbps
pccbb_intr_disestablish: pil 0xc0a5b9e0

the BIOS supplies few options wrt the pci; bus master enable/disable,
latency timer, and "option rom scan".

consequently, it doesnt recognize the second fxp i have installed, but the
on-board ex0 is fine.
