Do you know actual user who is against localized man page?
I don't know any user who is against it.
(About the discussion in 2ch, it's not apparent the most
 vocal person is actual netbsd user or not. If he is really
 NetBSD user, what he should do is to provide his labor
 to translation project, rather than grumbling anonymously.)

I heard from saitoh-san that he thought it was good idea to
move the repository of japanese manual page to TNF or JNUG.
Although he had some concerns about it.
e.g.
- he wished good quality (anyone who disklike good quality? :))
- he wished to preserve obsolete man pages which were removed
  from NetBSD repository for some users.
  (We should have separate directory for this.)
- he wished to provide catman, too.
