Excellent!  When the bge issue get figured out, I'll throw the soundcard 
back in then, and just take the hit in performance.

Yeah, I see from the driver that the part is chock full of bugs,
however the fact that I've been unable to see any bad behavior in it on
a non-MP system makes it unclear how it could really be a bge issue.
