Is your destdir perhaps polluted? There should not be any .gz man pages
there.

That will cause build.sh -R to bomb.

pwhash.1 and atomic.h. If you have distrib/sets/lists/man/mi rev 1.519
and comp/md.i386 rev 1.65, you should be fine.
