That wouldn't hurt -- as you say, anything to make the rc.d script
easier and more desirable for users....

Hmmm....  I dunno if I'd go so far as to say that.....  :-)

(though I know people who would agree with decribing it as "A Real Man's Unix" :-)
(and at least one of them is not a male.... :-)
