Building for sparc on i386 -- which requires -D$DESTDIR -d -- I get
to a point where it actually starts looking for libs in
$DESTDIR/usr/lib, and can't find them.

Also, I'm trying to find the notes which explain how to do a cross-build
in pkgsrc.

[In case it's non-obvious, a build for anything on the SPARC is slow;
 the 800MHz Athlon runs much quicker :) ]
