macppc isn't cross-release capable ("build.sh -R") yet, unfortunately.
We're working on it.

The current obstacle is getting bootblocks onto the floppy, which currently
only works from the macppc-native "installboot" program, to wit:

: /usr/obj/MACPPC_DES/usr/mdec/installboot -v -b 17 ofwboot
: /usr/obj/MACPPC_DES/usr/mdec/bootxx boot1.fs.tmp
: /usr/obj/MACPPC_DES/usr/mdec/installboot: 1: Syntax error: "("
: unexpected
: *** Error code 2

And, of course, you can't run a macppc binary on an i386. :)
