I had the same problem with Suse-7.3 and Netscape 4.79 until I enabled INET6
in my kernel (see PR/16236). Christos Zoulas has commited a fix to the tree
on Mon Apr 8 14:00:32 UTC 2002 that should make it work without INET6 in the
kernel, but I have not checked if it works yet.
