Noticed an odd thing while trying to get sound working on my laptop:
the release notes from at least as far back as 1.5.1 claim that the
ESS Maestro 2E is supported (by the esm driver), yet there is no esm
driver in the source for 1.5.3_BETA2.  OTOH, a check of cvsweb shows
several esm* files in .../src/sys/dev/pci in the 1_5 branch.

Is this intentional or just an oversight?  If intentional, is the
code in good enough shape to run with BETA2?
