hi all, i am french user of netbsd running on current.
i don't know if it's the best place to ask this. anyway.

in fact, i always wondered why netbsd's cp didn't allow the user to specify -v to get a really verbose output. it has the advantage to keep the user informed of the current situation of the copy.

cp -v a /b/ would show this

a --> b/a

i don't know if it is compatible with the posix standard, but that's useful for copies of huge files.
