The problem also appeared on my laptop after updating kernel.  Maybe this
is a change in wscons behaviour?  How can I activate the old behaviour
where F1 returned <ESC>OP and shift-F1 returned <ESC>O2P?  Also, shift-up
used to return <ESC>[3A instead of <ESC>[A.

I'll try building a kernel from Saturday's sources, but I'm afraid the new
behaviour is a feature.. :-I
