Though the attached switch has its 100 Mbps light on, the transfers are
damn slow, about 20KB/s !

And the output of ifconfig is starnge :

> ex0: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu
>1500
> capabilities=7<IP4CSUM,TCP4CSUM,UDP4CSUM>
> enabled=0<>
> address: 00:04:75:4c:19:11
> media: Ethernet none (none)
> inet 192.168.11.36 netmask 0xffffffe0 broadcast 192.168.11.63

I'm curious about those two lines :
    enabled=0<>
    media: Ethernet none (none)

dmesg says about the card :

> ex0 at pci1 dev 4 function 0: 3Com 3c905C-TX 10/100 Ethernet with mngmt
>(rev. 0x78)
> ex0: interrupting at irq 5
> ex0: MAC address 00:04:75:4c:19:11
> OUI 0x00085a model 0x0000 rev 0 at ex0 phy 24 not configured

BTW the box is a really standard HP VL400
I can't see the problem.

Thanks for any clue
