I tried connecting to an FTP site and got the following error:

ftp> ls
229 Entering Extended Passive Mode (|||61403|)
200 EPRT command successful.
425 Can't build data connection: Address family not supported by protocol family.
ftp>

I'm running NetBSD-1.5.2. I re-set IPF back to passing all, and it still does this.
However, the Windows FTP client didn't do this. ???

Try it! Anonymous ftp to ftp.altera.com.

Also, Netbsd.org gave me this:

ftp> ls
229 Entering Extended Passive Mode (|||64097|)
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for '/bin/ls'.
total 8896
...

I never noticed ftp going into passive mode before.

Any Ideas?
