I had the same problem with -current from a week or so
ago (1.5Z). It's not the new / file-system on the hard
drive that is full, it's the in-kernel md file system.
I solved my problem by going back to a 1.5.1 sysinst
which was able to install my 1.5Z -current system with
no problems.
