Hi All,

I thought I would send my dmesg output from my custom kernel now that
I have been able to build with i686 support. I modified the
INSTALL kernel to produce this kernel, which seems very fast although
I am not sure how to test the i686-specific support with a Duron
processor. I will be happy to share the kernel build file upon request.
Notice that the Promise 100Mbit controller is detected and initialized
at UDMA mode 5. (pciide1). I am booting from this controller. Whoever
worked on that code, thanks!! NetBSD has superior support for this
Motherboard (an ASUS) to any other OS I have installed to date.

Regards,

Glen Gross
