Dear Current Users,
I have a lab of 25 boxes with both NetBSD-1.5.1 and Win2k. I have the
boot program installed on the boxes and configured so that you can choose
windows or NetBSD with default going to active partition. I have a button
up under X which the user can click on to change active partition and
reboot the computer (provide no one is logged on at the time). This makes
it easy for Windows users to get from NetBSD to windows.
Previously under dos/win95 I had an icon which ran a .com file which
changed the active partition to netbsd and rebooted.
With NT/2k regular user programs are not allowed to make BIOS calls.
Any pointers to how to have an icon which will change the active
partition and reboot under windows to get to NetBSD?
I know I have seen an NT box which had a modified shutdown menu which
included switching to Linux. Anybody know where to get such an item?
