Is there any situation where the PCIBIOS hooks are *harmful* (justifying why
they are off by default in GENERIC)?  The M$ OSs will always use PCIBIOS for
config probing if it is available, so I assume there must be a way to use
them automatically without bombing....

Same goes for the CardBus devices themselves.
