I'm using LFS on i386 for some file systems, and have noticed that due
to the nature of LFS, vim gets confused by the mtime being modified
after vim thinks the write has finished. Mutt shows some similar
interesting behavior.

I looked through ufs/lfs in -current, and searched the mail archives,
but found no mention of this. Has anyone come across a solution?
