i'd just like to take this opportunity to mention that today i had the
opportunity to grab my friend's compact flash ethernet card (first one
i'd ever seen) and shove it in the "sandisk" labeled pccard adapter
that i usually use for the card from my camera.

while not expecting much, i was delighted to see my laptop mention a
cis checksum mismatch, and then an en0 ethernet interface.  i didn't
get a chance to poke at it much (that being a mostly wireless office)
but i'll definitely be going back there.
