I'd just like to second this.  I spent a sizable chunk of the last two
years doing consulting and system integration, and the standard `utility
belt' mail/dns server configuration which we developed is based around a
pair of 9 GB drives RAID 1'ed together with RF.

I've rolled out about a half dozen or so such boxes, and my wife and
other consultants at the firm rolled out another half dozen to a dozen.
After various testing to reach an ideal configuration, RF was never a
point of contention in maintaining these boxes.  In fact, we were
_quite_ thrilled to have it.

Now I'm in another line of work, but just wanted to share the
experience/testimonial...
