So what version of those files should one have? I can see pfil.c v1.15
on ftp.netbsd.org - I have v1.17 on this 1.5O box. I don't whether or not
a problem of mine is related: I can no longer (since 2 days) ssh directly
from a 1.5O to a 1.5O box but must go via an older (1.5E) one.
SSH Version OpenSSH_2.2.0 NetBSD_Secure_Shell-20001003, protocol versions 1.5/2.0.
Compiled with OpenSSL (0x0090581f).
debug: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh.conf
debug: ssh_connect: getuid 211 geteuid 211 anon 1
debug: Connecting to wibble [10.0.0.1] port 22.
debug: Connection established.
is as far as it gets: no port allocated, no login prompt..
Merry Christmas,
