Sorry for the wide distribution, but I'm not quite sure where else to take
it...
I'm experiencing some difficulties related to identd which I can't quite
explain, namely when trying to IRC to a few places, the remote server
complains that it cannot contact my identd. I have checked my firewall
configuration and 'auth' is, indeed, an open port.
identd is called from inetd as:
auth stream tcp nowait nobody.kmem /usr/libexec/identd identd -i -e -l
Nonstandard per installation, I'm sure, but nonetheless, IRCs are
telling me I need to install identd.
