That seems odd, as the HOWTO says:
   Open Firmware can read files off ISO 9660 CDs, so just leave a kernel
          and copies of ofwboot.elf and ofwboot.xcf somewhere on the CD,
	  ...

And I followed the instructions for multiboot CDs for pmax & vax, which
wouldn't seem to interfere.  I don't know that it works, but I wouldn't
think that'd be a problem.  If it is, then I'd guess that macppc doesn't
boot, the rest should.
