I seem to have an even more serious problem with siop and Audio-CDs in
1.5_BETA2.

When reading audio data off my Teac CD-R58S (CD writer) occasionally I
get a command timeout and subsequent scsibus reset from the siop
driver, and the software (cdparanoia) fails. This usually happens
several times in a row, then several times everything is fine, and
again some failures.

After about 20 minutes of reading different audio tracks, I eventually
get a kernel panic, and the system is just locked up.

  DMA IRQ: Illegal Instruction dma fifo empty
  DSP=0x2d8 DSA=0x4a80
  uvm_fault in supervisor mode
  trap type 6 code 0 eip c01039b9 cs 8 eflags 210202 cr2 cpl d000ed44
  panic: trap

This has never happened with the ncr driver, although this gives me
"extraneous data discarded" errors every time I start reading an audio track.

Since 1.5_BETA2 does not contain the latest revision of siop, can I
just cvs the latest revision of siop.c and expect it to work with
1.5_BETA2, or do I need anything more?
