Folks:
The prices of 802.11 gear seem to be dropping low enough that it's
very tempting to pick some up, but I wonder how much of the low-cost
stuff will actually work with NetBSD and how much (if any), supports
	WEP.

I'd love any input on those questions... Here's my random sampling
	of cheap 802.11 gear:

	    Access points:
		SMC SMC2652W Access point: ~ $267 US.
		DLink DWL-1000AP Access point: ~ $345 US.

	    PCMCIA Cards:
[...Given past experience with the manufacturers, I don't
		    really trust the first two...]
		Addtron awp-100 ~ $135 US
		LinkSys wpc11 ~ $132 US

[...the rest of these seem reasonable...]
		DLink DWL-650 ~ $140 US
		SMC 2632W ~ $145 US
		Intel WPC2011NA ~ $142 US
		3Com 3CRWE737A ~ $155 US
		Cabletron CSIBD-AA (RoamAbout) ~ $155 US

Thanks for any feedback!
