DSN: Delivery Status Notification, i.e. "Return-Receipt-To:".

I typically use it for debugging in an unfamiliar environment to make
sure the mail goes where I send it.

Another method of DSN is used by Microshaft Exchange (god help me) which
interacts with the Outlook mailer, and that is a *read* receipt, i.e.
"tell me when $USER *reads* this message." I've sadly had to resort
to it with my boss so he can't say "I didn't see your e-mail." Again,
not for common use (there are many privacy advocates who strongly
oppose read receipts, though some of them don't object too strenuously
to return-receipt-to (i.e. delivery notification)).

I *like* delivery notification, i.e. "Your message got here -- what the
user does with it is up to them.". I use it *rarely*.
