Will rpcbind / TI-RPC DTRT if there is no /etc/netconfig? ISTR that one
of the big concerns when our nsswitch implementation was imported was
that it must DTRT in the absence of /etc/nsswitch.conf. Now it's
granted, mind you, that rpc is not as central as some of the information
which passes through nsswitch, but this may still be a reasonable
goal...
Incidentally, in the (perhaps blessed) absence of XTI, what useful
configuration can be done via /etc/netconfig? Are there any plans for
it to ever apply to anything aside from rpc?
